With Spring time approaching the weather has been up and down for the last couple weeks. Although warm temperatures started appearing, the chilly winds came out of nowhere. Plus the past several days has been very cold. I have been bundling up walking to work with my winter coat and scarf. Due to recent weather, it made me think of this past winter. One of my favorite things I did was go to the Mt. Vernon Monument Lighting event. I recall going to dinner with friends and then walking over to see the city light the monument as well as see the fireworks. Plus there was also music playing and food vendors. The experience of the monument ligthting was simply fabulous!
